it’s always something

hi guys !!

since writing last i've been on some pretty random grinds (once again thanks to my inability to fall quickly into slumber). friday morning at two hundred hours i decided it was a great ideato try and install linux on my phone ! haha ! great idea, right? i ended up going with a clean debian install with `termux`. the first window manager i attempted to use went as close to apeshit as a computer can, so i ended up landing on `openbox` for my window manager. openbox is pretty swag, very bare-bones, but that allows me to customize it to my liking. for a text editor i installed `geany` and was surprised with its capabilities. it strongly reminds me of roblox studio's lua editor that i used to play with in the good old days β˜οΈπŸ€“. UNfortunately, g++ was having having trouble compiling my simple program (below) so, less unfortunately, i had the opportunity to try clang to compile and it's a nearly identical experience. also uh i found out that g++ wasn't compiling because of a silly syntax error so oops! at around four or five i was finally done with the whole process, and, aside from the sleep deprivation, it was very fun πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈ. i'll probably write some silly weird programs on my new "phone desktop". i'm very curious how m. nielsen's neural-networks-and-deep-learning - network.py might run on my phone's hardware. as seen in another screenshot below, my phone's mem & swap were pretty heavily taxed by the desktop so i dunno. on the note of nielsen's n-n-a-d-l, i trained the network on my laptop and got a surprisingly high accuracy of 95.03% (allllso seen below) and a greater accuracy of 95.13% accuracy after some tweaking (and luck) this morning. the network is trained on the mnist database of 10,000 (? i think) handwritten numbers. maybe obvious now, but the neural network is trained to recognize handwritten numbers on a 28px x 28px grid. v cool stuff.

lots of pictures in this one heh 😈. some of the more "typical" funtivities i've been up to! aidan and i went on a yummy walk near-ish-by-ish the diestelhorst bridge that ended up being a tad longer than we thought. still a great, sweat-inducing walk. we also got up to some urbex activities (climbed down to the underside of a bridge and quickly left). one day later and he's finally a lisenced health science specialist!! bella and i watched him walk across the stage and then i got to meet a ton of really cool super swag people :p ! dennys was incredible, almost put us both into a coma, and i ran into someone that i had gone on a missions trip with so that was πŸ€™.

YESTERDAY I WENT TO MY FIRST REN FAIRE wow! it was as fun as it was hot (it was very hot). ofc i run into jason g. within 10 seconds of entering the gates. so many cool booths, trades, and people AND aidan and i ran into some people from the previous night's graduation ceremony and some faces from high school. always great to see the (mostly) play peoples πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈπŸ™‚β€β†•οΈ.

okay now i am feeling the typing fatigue, lots of research and studying td.

WAAAAAAAIT, quote time: "i feel great happiness for my anger is righteously focused". i dunno, i devised this guy a few days ago and feel like it resonates rather well with the person that is me. ok enough rambling.

i hope you enjoy your evening πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈ
